Hikvision Launches Source Code Transparency Center

I am very pleased to inform you about the opening of the Hikvision Source Code Transparency Center (SCTC) at our US headquarters in City of Industry, Calif. This is the industry's first SCTC of its kind, and at its first stage it will enable government agencies in the United States and Canada to review the source code for a wide array of select IP cameras and NVRs sold by Hikvision.

The SCTC is Hikvision's latest major investment in cybersecurity defense. In the past year, we put in place a dedicated North American cybersecurity team and added new resources for our partners. By opening our source code for review, Hikvision continues to demonstrate its commitment to product security and transparency.

Government parties who wish to review the Hikvision source code should contact a member of the Hikvision sales team to schedule an appointment and complete the required nondisclosure agreement.
